Welcome to Vodafone....

It's 3 years since I had a Vodafone phone ( well except for a £10/m SIM that I only had for 4 months for the quidco credit ). In the past I had reasonably good experience of it Vf for business use ... good coverage, reasonable customer service when needed. So it seemed a good choice for my new business phone.

Here's what their website says about their service : "Our aim is to help you as quickly and efficiently as possible."

The phone & sim card turned up within 24 hrs, so far so good. But the sim wont register and now a vodafone chap says the number allocated to me (& the sim) doesn't match the one the sales women gave me or that is printed on the delivery notes. But no worries, he'll look into it and I'll get a call back in the next 15-20 minutes.

Over an hour or hour-and-a-half later and no call. The original call route in now says they are closed till tomorrow. Finding another (pay) number to call I get through to someone who checks and tells me the previous chap has gone home and not left any notes on the situation. I'm not sure how that qualifies as 'help' let alone being quick or efficient. The new operator commits to call me back within an hour.... Let's see....
